From May 4 to June 13, discover at the Science Library an exhibition of photographies created by researchers to show the beauty of particle physics

Proposed by researchers from the CNRS Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics, members of the Intensity Frontier research group, this exhibition aims to share the wonder of particle physics: to see the infinitely small, you need gigantic machines, unique objects with a strange and fascinating beauty… A model of the CMS detector, one of the discoverers of the Higgs boson, at CERN, will also be presented in the exhibition.

The exhibition has been designed by a team of physicists and communication officers from CNRS laboratories, including Viola Sordini and Antoine Cazes from IP2I Lyon.

If you wish to follow a guided tour of the exhibition proposed by Antoine Cazes, register online and go to the Science Library with an ID or your cumulative card.
These visits will take place on Mondays, May 10, 17, 31 and June 7, from 12:30 to 1:00 pm.
Discover here the video presentation of the exhibition (in French).

In echo with the exhibition, a “carte blanche” was organized with Viola Sordini. The recording is available on the University’s Youtube channel (in French).
