As part of the REINFORCE project, citizens will have the opportunity to contribute to the exploration of the links between cosmic ray physics, geology, volcanology and archeology through the use of data and simple experimental devices serving as radiographic exploration and monitoring tools.
The research and innovation project REINFORCE (Research Infrastructures FOR citizens in Europe) aims to enable European citizens to make their voices heard, by strengthening communication and feedback channels between research and society. Citizens will cooperate with researchers and actively contribute to the development of new knowledge. Funded under the Horizon2020 call “Explore and support citizen science” via the “Science with and for society” program, REINFORCE has just been officially launched for a period of 3 years in December 2019 at the Observatory European Gravity (EGO). contact : Jacques Marteau
