The science festival will take place on October 8 and 9. Like every two years, the laboratory participates in the Particule.com festival. This year it will take place on live on the Twitch platform, with a special broadcast on Thursday at 7 p.m. On the other hand, the exhibition “La Science taille XX Elles” in which Corinne Augier participated is once again presented at the Bullukian Foundation.

The Festival Particule.com is a scientific event organized every two years as part of the Science Festival. On this occasion, the IN2P3 Computing Center works in collaboration with the laboratory and the Planetarium of Vaulx-en-Velin to offer to the general public and to schools scientific mediation events around physics and computer science. This year, the Particule.com Festival offers you a somewhat special program with face-to-face entertainment at the Vaulx-en-Velin Planetarium and a series of ’virtual’ format events broadcast on the CC-IN2P3 Twitch channel. All the activities offered are free.

On the other hand, within the framework of the event “Feminine sciences for the world of tomorrow”, the Bullukian Foundation present the photos of the exhibition “Science taille XX Elles”, and thus set up meetings with the women of science who were photographed.

And finally, Dominique Girod, like every year, participated in the organization of an “hameau des sciences”, in the village of Crans, in Ain. This activity included a conference (available here), and fun workshops. This year’s theme: the Anthropocene.
